Weekend Wrap Up

Unfortunately, a vacation isn't possible for us this summer. With me not working, it's just not going to happen. We may go camping or something later on this summer though.

Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend, we were pretty busy.

Not doing anything fun though.

We were prepping for our first garage sale!

We got the garage all sparkly clean... I so wish I had a before and after picture. It looks amazing.

We had at least 10 of those large plastic storage bins, we are now down to 6 I think? So, that was nice to clear those out.

Then we worked on our closet downstairs. It started out being really nice and organized, and somehow starting going downhill. Not anymore though! It's all cleared out, cleaned, and organized.

Then, I went through Paige's clothes.... we have SO many of those that we will be getting rid of.

Then, I went through my books. I have at least 3 big boxes of books that I will be selling, hopefully.

So, yeah. That was our weekend. Nothing much else happened.

I did watch the fireworks for June Dairy Days from our deck. Here are some pics I got:

These would have been a little neater had there not been a streetlight right there. lol

In other news, Paige is all better now. She still has 2 doses left of her antibiotics, and then we are done with those. Yay!

What a fun weekend! Abe's parents came down Friday afternoon and they treated us to dinner at a new Mexican Restaurant. Well, it's not BRAND new, we've eaten their once before. Pretty good! One complaint though...it was HOT. It was horrible outside that day, and after walking in, I wanted to go right back outside. Turns out, their A/C was on, but where we were sitting, we were getting all the heat from the kitchen. Not cool!! (no pun intended, lol) So, yeah. That sucked. The food was good though :)

We played outside before we left because we were waiting on Abe to get home from work.

This is proof Paige is ILL. Her poor little face is all puffy :( She doesn't even look like herself.

I took this picture when we were headed home. The sunset was behind us and I really, REALLY wanted a picture. The sky was blazing! So, this is what I got:

On Saturday, Abe, Rick, and I went fishing. We only lasted a few hours as the sun was trying to burn us alive.

Also.. *ahem* I was the only one to catch a fish. AGAIN. The last 2 times we have gone fishing, they always make fun of me for using a boring ol' bobber and night crawler. They can both kiss it because I am the only one to ever catch anything with just the bare necessities. Psshh...fancy lures. Those are ridiculous. lol Give me a worm and a bobber, and we are golden!

Of course, there are no pictures of this said fish. I'm sure Abe is pleased because he can just say I'm lying. lol

We went home and lounged around for awhile. Once it cooled down enough, we took Paige outside.

Then, we grilled out. We have a big patch of really tall weeds/grass at the end of our street (We live on a cul de sac). There is a family of little bunnies in there, and we spotted some of the babies!
