Luxury Home Event: Epson Stylus NX420 All In One Printer Review & Giveaway

I'm sure you are all very familiar with the name Epson. In fact, when I think of printers - Epson is the first company that pops in my head. Epson has been around for more than 100 years. Did you know they started out in the watch making business? I had no idea! I found that to be very interesting. In fact, they made the industry's very first quartz watch. 

Basically, they have been around the block more than a few times. They know what it takes (and means) to make innovative and quality products at a great value for their customers.

I was given the amazing opportunity to review the Epson Stylus NX420.

You can probably imagine my response! 

I print a lot of things, and quite often. Between photos, shopping lists, and coupons, it gets used on a daily basis. My old printer was an All In One as well, but a different brand. Let me  just say - I've been fooled for many years. Not only did I think they were insanely expensive, but I also thought that they weren't as great as everyone made them out to be. 

Let me tell you about why I love this printer and why I'm an Epson user for life!

It Prints

In fact, it prints very well. Photos? Not an issue. I have never had a printer that did such wonderful work printing out a photo. It honestly looks like I took a roll of film in to get developed. I am constantly snapping shots of my daughter and I love that I can print them off right away! The photo is very clear, no smudges or marks at all! There are also built in memory card slots! All you have to do is insert your memory card from your camera, view and select pictures to print on the display, and you are good to go! Office documents? Easy as pie! Coupons? They come out very nicely too!  It prints very quickly - even when hooked up wirelessly which surprised me.

AMAZING.

It Copies & Scans

I love the set up for this. I really do. The top lifts up just like one of those big fancy copiers does, and it's very simple to use. The control pad is on the top left, right next to the top. It has a little 1.5 inch display screen which is awesome! I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. It's been nice scanning in pictures that I didn't have on the computer anywhere. There have been several instances when I needed a copier and I sit here and try to figure out how I will get it done, and then I remember that I have one sitting right next to my computer..and one that actually works! YAY! Everything scans in beautifully. I haven't had any issues there. You can't tell it's been scanned.

The Ink

The ink that is used for this printer dries instantly - no, really it does. I tried it! The ink is fade and water resistant as well. One more thing - it can stand up to a highlighter, even if it's just freshly printed. You only need to replace the color you need. You don't have to replace an entire ink cartridge with the three standard colors. This printer comes with 4 cartridges: Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. These cartridges are as low as $8.99! Talk about affordable! 

It's Wireless

I love that I can be sitting across the room from the printer, and print something - as long as there is paper already loaded, of course. It is so handy. I do have a desk, and the printer is located right next to the desk. However, I'm not always sitting there. I like to sit on the couch when I'm just surfing the web. Sometimes I'm in the kitchen looking at recipes while cooking, and sometimes I'm just being lazy in bed. By the way - my bedroom is downstairs and on the opposite end of the house from this printer, and I was still able to print something. How awesome is that?!? You can also hook up your mobile device and print things too! 

Overall - I love this printer. It's definitely affordable - only $99.99! I always thought they were so much more expensive, but this just proves that you don't have to pay a lot for a quality product! With cartridges being as low as $8.99, you really can't go wrong with this amazing machine!
